NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION IN INVESTIGATION - NVQ
National Vocational Qualifications consist of Units of competence that are defined as the ability to perform prescribed tasks to a defined standard on a consistent basis with proven underpinning knowledge.
In Level 4 a candidate must take the 5 Mandatory Units and any 6 of the Optional Units to achieve the Award, further credits can be awarded for additional Optional Units if the candidate decides to do them.

Unit 007 Contribute to official proceedings.
Unit 008 Undertake process serving which supports official proceedings.
Unit 010 Advise on the viability and consequences of undertaking an investigation
Unit 014 Lead the work of teams and individuals to improve customer service.
Unit 015 Organise, deliver and maintain reliable customer service.
Unit 016 Plan surveillance operations to meet investigation objectives.
Unit 017 Manage surveillance operations.
Unit 018 Complete surveillance operations.
Unit 021 Manage information for action.
Unit 022 Manage yourself.
Unit 023 Respond to poor performance in your team.
Unit 024 Enter and integrate data, and present information using a computer system
Unit 025 Monitor procedures to control risks to health and safety.
Unit 026 Create, develop and maintain effective working relationships.
